Multi-Engine Pilot

Through a partnership agreement, Majestic Aviation can help you obtain your multi-engine rating for about $2500-$3500. A multi-engine land (MEL) rating allows a pilot to operate as pilot-in-command of an aircraft with more than one engine. The increase in performance, speed, power, rate of climb, and the busy cockpit makes it a very fun and exciting rating to obtain. It is all about learning to fly on one engine. It makes the most logical sense to get you instrument and commercial first if you are striving for a career in aviation. If not, you should at least get your private and instrument prior to your multi-engine rating. There are no minimum time requirements for the multi-engine land rating; however you will need an instructor endorsement for flight and ground training prior to taking the check ride. There is no written exam, only an oral exam and practical check ride are required.
